The four bungalows vary in size from 4 to 6 rooms & suites; 20 in all. Each bungalow is unique – lakeside Castlereagh & Summerville, Norwood with panoramic views and Tientsin, the most traditional colonial.

This is the ideal setting for trekking and biking against the breathtaking backdrop of mountains, lakes, winding roads and waterfalls. Rates at Tea Trails are fully inclusive of gourmet meals and drinks, including top shelf spirits and wines. Even service charges, taxes and laundry are included. We won’t bother you with bills. 

Your day starts with the tradition of Bed Tea served by your Butler, who will also draw your bath. Your Chef will then suggest meals based on fresh produce and home grown vegetables and herbs. Guests can indulge in dishes from western fare to traditional Sri Lankan classics and tea inspired dishes. The afternoon cream tea is to die for! Work the gourmet meals off with a dawn expedition to climb the famed 2250m Adam’s Peak holy mountain. The Peak has been an object of worship & pilgrimage by kings and commoners for centuries.
